The region around Elsloo and Geleen is great for cycling. You drive through hills, through the Maas valley and through beautiful towns full of sights. You cross the Juliana Canal and in Stein you pass, among other things, the St. Martin's Church. In Urmond you will see the Bokkenrijders Chapel from 1755 on the right of the Molenweg. You climb a little further into the hills, occasionally you have beautiful panoramas of the beautiful surroundings. You regularly see a beautiful characteristic farm. Bokkenheufke Castle is located near the village of Schimmert, so it is worth getting off and taking a look around. The route starts and ends at De Witte Börstel Cycling and Walking Terrace, where you can enjoy a drink and a delicious snack beforehand and when you return.
