Cycling through the Kempen

Get away from it all, into nature! Heath, forest, winding streams and traces from the past. Discover the history of the Kempen by bike. The starting point of the route is in cozy Brabant Oerle at Gasterij Dorpsgenot, the perfect starting point for a cycling route. The gasterij is located in the middle of the woods, a wonderful place to stay and enjoy a snack and a drink after your cycling route. During this cycling route you will discover, among other things, the Kempen nature reserve, which lies close to the Belgian border. Dirt roads take you past fields and forests. Where the coniferous forests give way, there is a large, silent heath with drifting sand and swamps. An almost fairytale-like area! You cycle back to Oerle via the surrounding villages.
