Schoonhoven - Kinderdijk - Schoonhoven (Lower Lek)

Park just before the ferry to Groot Ammers (on the right). Start at junction 10, Outside the Veerpoort. Through the old center of Schoonhoven to Vlist. From Vlist through the meadows via Schoonouwen, Koolwijk and Zuidbroek to Loet. Continue following the Loet until junction 66. Follow the built-up area of Krimpen aan den IJssel in a northerly direction to the Hollandse IJssel. Now follow the Hollandse IJssel to the port of Krimpen aan den IJssel (junction 70). Along the harbor to junction 58. Through the polder and via the Plas Krimpenerhout to junction 81. Cycle through Krimpen aan de Lek to the ferry to Kinderdijk. Take the ferry and then via junction 31 to Kinderdijk. Follow the Grote or Achterwaterschap past the windmills of Kinderdijk, past the bird sanctuary the Donkse Laagten to Brandwijk. From there via junctions 14 and 67 to Groot-Ammers. There are two options to complete the tour:
1) Foot ferry to Ammerstol and then back to the port of Schoonhoven via junction 37.
2) Via junction 66 and the Groot-Ammers - Schoonhoven ferry back to the port of Schoonhoven.
