Description
Come and experience the rich cultural history around the Slotermeer. In the Frisian polders you can enjoy the vast grasslands, the ditches and the peace. Along the river De Luts you drive through the center of Balk. This part enjoys a protected village view, you see beautiful old buildings there. Further on you come through the fortified town of Sloten. Almost everything of the original ramparts and structure is still there, beautiful! Your route ends in Woudsend: another Frisian village that is rich in atmosphere and beautiful buildings.
