Kootwijk and surroundings De Veluwe on the south side of Apeldoorn

Starting is possible at the parking lot at knp 70.  Very varied route through the forest and over the heath. Nice villages with plenty of rest points for a snack and a drink.  Sights:  The old buildings of Radio Kootwijk. The old station in Lieren with old steam locomotives. Historic paper factory, De Middelste mill, along the Apeldoorns canal at junction 58. Memorial of the 2nd WWII. The Wild Farm.  Nice places to eat and drink along the route: Stop Assel at knp 24  And at the particularly beautiful nature reserve Het Leesten, with the kiosk the Uchelse berg  near junction 43.
