The Kraaijenbergse Plassen and the beautiful nature surrounding it are ideal for a nice bike ride. The Kraaijenbergse Plassen were created by the extraction of industrial sand, gravel and clay from 1968. Some of these lakes are used for recreation and the westernmost lake is a protected nature reserve for aquatic animals. Here you will find, for example, the coot, the shelduck and the sand martin. So look around you when you cycle here and you will spot all kinds of animals. If you like to view monumental buildings, this route is also the right place for you. You start the route in Cuijk at Buitenplaats Zevenhutten. Enjoy the peace and beautiful nature here. After the cycling tour you can also enjoy a nice cup of coffee and lunch in the field café.

Just south of Cuijk, just over the railway towards Vianen and Haps, you will find a unique place for nature, recreation, farewell and memory: Buitenplaats Zevenhuisjes. The estate is surrounded by a special nature and recreation area. On the terrace of the country estate you can enjoy views of the rural surroundings. Kasteel Bronkhorst

This castle dates back to the 15th century and was converted into a monastery in 1858. In the garden of the castle you will find a chapel, some statues of saints, a greenhouse, a cemetery and a Lourdes grotto.

This belt mill dates from 1832. The mill is no longer capable of turning, because most of the interior has been removed from the mill. Nowadays there is a restaurant located in the mill.
