Description
Between Zwolle and Ommen flows the Vecht, which has its source in Germany and flows into the Zwarte Water. Which meanders its way through the beautiful landscape . There are many historic country estates and castles in this region. Your route starts at Camperplaats De Ruitenborgh. You first cycle past Huize De Leemcule, this is a manor house that has existed since 1434. Then you come between junctions 59 and 83 past Huize Den Berg. After a few kilometers you come through Zwolle, one of the Hanseatic cities. A historic city with many sights. Explore the atmospheric streets, beautiful museums and sights. Then you cycle further and you come past Havezate Ruitenborgh, this is also where the end point is named after; Camperplaats De Ruitenborgh. A beautiful location to end the tour.
Please note: the ferry does not operate in winter between junctions 67 and 68. Then continue to 47, 69 and pick up the route again.
