If you cycle this route during the asparagus season (May to June 24), you can buy fresh asparagus from one of the Salland asparagus growers! Salland is a unique cycling area located in Overijssel. A region with a lot of varied nature, cozy villages. It is not for nothing that the region is known as Salland Fietsland. You pass De Velner Castle, founded in 1382. The canals are still beautiful to see, otherwise only a farm on the site of the left building house remains from the Middle Ages.
