Description
You start this route in a beautiful place: in the forests of the Holterberg. First you drive to Holten, a charming village. Then you cycle on car-free roads through the coulisse landscape. Here you can enjoy nature and peace, ideal for a day of relaxation. In Bathmen you pass the fifteenth-century village church. Along the Schipbeek you cycle to Deventer. You pass the Douwelerkolk, a nature reserve where the De Wijtenhorst estate once was. In the heart of Deventer you can enjoy the rich history that this Hanseatic town has to offer. In Lettele you can also enjoy a delicious meal at Restaurant BRAS-KOER. In Dijkerhoek you pass De Hegeman, a mill from 1890.
