Sailing Beurtveer Heeg - Balk tourist office with a skutsje A day out with the"Aleida Hendrika\\\", built in 1905. A wonderful experience for young and old! From May to September the skutsje"Aleida Hendrika\\\" sails the Heeg-Balk service. If the wind permits, this traditional ship will take you sailing to your destination, on the way you can enjoy the Frisian landscape; the lakes with their many boats and the beautiful canals that meander through the landscape. On the way we pass the cozy village of Woudsend. In this period the ship sails at least every Thursday, but if a group of at least 6 people wants to make the crossing on another day, you can call, it is possible to make the crossing on other days.
