Description
This cycle route takes you through Uden and the surrounding area, a beautiful place on the Peelrand Fracture. The special thing is that the break is actually clearly visible here. The town has a friendly, warm atmosphere and in the surroundings of Uden you will find a nice variety of agricultural areas, nature and tourist elements.
De Maashorst nature reserve
In 2007, Uden won the Etente Florale, a national green competition. A year later, Uden won the same title at European level. That is not surprising, because the nature around Uden is incredibly beautiful. You cycle through the nature reserve'De Maashorst\\\', the largest connected nature reserve in North Brabant. Here you will find the Bedafse Bergen, among other things. Admire the impressive drifting sand ridge with a height of 25 meters. The area is mainly known for its special pointing grounds. These high and wet soils hardly occur in the rest of Europe.
