Through the bulb fields to the North Sea coast

With this route you combine the beauty of the bulb region with the natural beauty of the Dutch dunes. You will also pass through a number of beautiful towns, such as Lisse.

Atlantic Wall
The route starts in picturesque Lisse. Here you will see, among other things, the St. Agatha Church from 1903. Then you drive through the bulb fields. From spring to autumn you will see an unprecedentedly colorful mosaic here. Just above Noordwijk you cycle past the old deciduous forest of the former Leeuwenhorst estate. In Noordwijk aan Zee you can take a look at the striking monumental lighthouse from 1923. Further on you will pass Atlantic Wall Museum Noordwijk, a special stop.

Hillegom
It is wonderfully peaceful to travel for miles in the wooded dunes. Ideal for leaving the everyday routine behind. Further on you will pass the Oosterduinse Meer, a recreational area that the locals also call Lake Como. In beautiful Hillegom you can get off at Hotel Villa Flora for a delicious meal and a coffee. You can leisurely drive back to Lisse along the canal.
