Description

The starting point of this nice, long cycle route is the Ruitersmolen.
This route takes you around the Harskamp sand and along the Kootwijkerzand, the largest active sand drift in Western Europe. Radio Kootwijk is a broadcasting station from the 1920s, built for telegraphic contact with the then Dutch East Indies. Along the way you will pass Boerderij Mossel. The beautiful terrace is a favorite attraction for many cyclists who need a delicious cup of coffee with apple pie, a sandwich or perhaps a nice cool beer during their strenuous bike rides. In bad weather you can also sit comfortably in the attractive sheepfold. Spend an overnight stay at I love Glamping, on the edge of Harskamp. This is glamping at a peak: the spacious tents have their own kitchen and bathroom.
