In this route you will discover Almelo and the surrounding area in a tour of 45.9 km that starts and ends at the tourist office located in the center of Almelo. Within this cycle route there are various sights and beautiful places to rest and enjoy the impressive surroundings. After about 22 km you will find the gallery and sculpture garden 't Vossenveen on the left. The sculpture garden offers a surprising view every season. Whether summer or winter, the garden invites you for a lovely walk. The sculpture garden is free of charge. The yard'De Boderie\\\' is located on the Markgravenweg (26 km). A poultry farm where, in addition to spending the night, you can also enjoy a nice cup of coffee and cake or enjoy a tasty sandwich from your own chickens. They also have a farm shop where you can buy various products. If you cycle back towards the center of Almelo, you will pass Huize Almelo. This is a manor that formed the center of the glory of Almelo. Further along at the beginning of Boddenstraat you will find the Basilica of St. George on the right. Around 40 km of the cycle route you will come across the flour mill'De Hoop\\\' halfway along Nieuwstraat on the right. The blades rotate regularly to allow the millstones to grind the grain. Finally, the cycle route passes city farm'Beeklust\\\'. Here is a beautiful part of Almelo, where city, park and countryside meet. Various farm animals are kept on this city farm. The farm also has a shop, terrace and a playground.
