This route takes you through Soest and Zeist, two beautiful towns full of cultural history. You also drive through forests and past country houses on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
The Kerkebuurt
You soon pass the Greyhound: a rebuilt corn mill from 2008, its medieval predecessor was demolished in 1930. Soest originated as a ribbon village on a spur of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the Soester Eng. At the foot of this is the old church from 1350. The area around the church is truly a picture!
The Den Treek estate
Further on you drive back into the woods. Nice kilometers, while enjoying the fresh air and the silence between the deciduous and coniferous trees. You see some villas and country houses, especially around Bosch en Duin. After you have enjoyed many kilometers of natural beauty, you will come across Landgoed Den Treek. What a nice atmosphere!
