The Church Neighborhood
You will soon pass the Windhond: a rebuilt corn mill from 2008, its medieval predecessor was demolished in 1930. Soest originated as a ribbon village on an extension of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the Soester Eng. At the foot of this is the old church from 1350. The area around the church is truly a picture!
Den Treek Estate
Further on you drive back into the woods. Make nice kilometers, while you enjoy the fresh air and the silence between the deciduous and coniferous trees. You see some villas and country houses, especially around Bosch en Duin. After you have enjoyed many kilometers of natural beauty, you come across Landgoed Den Treek. What a nice atmosphere!
