Wekeromse Zand and Mosselse Veld near Otterlo

Your route starts at De Houtkamp, a group accommodation, B&B and holiday home. You cycle through the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands: the Veluwe. This route first leads you to the Wekeromse Zand, where you will find actively drifting sand. It is a historic area: at the Vijfsprong, where you cycle past, you will see P02 - Celtic Fields, reconstructions of centuries-old fields measuring 40 by 40 meters. You will also find a recreated farm and storehouse or warehouse from the Iron Age. A viewing platform offers a beautiful view of the entire complex. Then you drive straight through the woods to the Mosselse Veld: an open area of grass and heath at the foot of the Valenberg. You drive straight through the woods via cozy Otterlo back to your starting point.
