The starting point of this route is the Beeldentuin/Zandsculpturen in Garderen. Garderen is located on the western flank of the Veluwe in a green environment. A wonderful area to cycle in! During your cycle route you cycle through the Speulder- and Sprielderbos. In this area you can also find many burial mounds. From these cemeteries and various archaeological finds. The route takes you not only through the forests but also over the Ermelosche (Ermelose) Heide. Your cycle tour also takes you past centuries-old burial mounds. Centuries ago, people buried some of their dead in or under burial mounds, which are protected by the Monuments Act. The route takes you further to the Schaapskooi, where the largest flock of sheep in the Netherlands is housed. Stop off at Bospark de Wervelwind in between, enjoy a well-deserved break here.
