Description

You start this route on the edge of Lankheet Estate. Here you cycle through an old farm landscape with ash trees, hedgerows, heathlands and vast forests. After the village of Loo you pass the Mallumse Molen, a water mill from 1748 on the Berkel river. The Muldershuis and the lock are also a nice sight. In Eibergen you will pass the Oude Mattheüskerk from 1500. Further on is the Nieuwe Mattheüskerk from 1935. You can get off at Hof van Eckberge for a snack and drink before cycling on car-free roads to Haarlo. The monumental octagonal church from 1858 is called De Kluntjespot (sugar bowl) by the residents.
