Description

First you cycle to the old Market of Winterswijk. Here you see several monuments, such as the Gothic Jacobskerk. At the edge of the village you pass the Bataaf, a corn mill from 1801. Please note: you cycle here for a while on a Singing Cycle Path. So don't be surprised if a cyclist comes towards you singing loudly. Of course you can also show off your singing skills here. Then you cycle a good distance through the Winterswijk National Landscape. In this beautiful Achterhoek coulisse landscape you see woods, lanes, hedgerows and meandering streams. Here and there you can still find old characteristic farms. What immediately stands out here is the peace. That makes your bike ride ideal for a relaxing day. Back in Winterswijk you complete your trip with a delicious meal at Gastrobar Blend 61.
