Cycle past the asparagus fields, the farms and the catering establishments to get to know the queen of vegetables, the asparagus, better. Grubbenvorst is the region's asparagus village and has everything to offer when it comes to vegetables. Bike, look and most of all; trial! The route takes you to the Asparagus and Mushroom Museum in Melderslo and through beautiful areas where you can see, taste and smell the asparagus or traces of the asparagus, especially in spring. Do not forget to stop at one of the many catering establishments that offer specialties. The route is indicated by signs with the text'asparagus route\\\'. There are three starting points with sufficient parking space: - Pastoor Vullinghsplein in Grubbenvorst - Campsite Californie, Horsterweg 23 in Grubbenvorst - Streekmuseum De Locht, Koppertweg 5 in Melderslo.
