Description
This is a very varied cycling route. You pass through the Knarbos located in the municipalities of Zeewolde and Lelystad and cycle over a special lock. But there are also the views over the meadows.
The lock is located in the Hoge Vaart near the Knardijk. This dike was once the border between Eastern and Southern Flevoland. The lock is made up of two gates equipped with two counterweights.
The Knarbos has a varied vegetation of deciduous and coniferous trees, interspersed with open spaces and ponds.
