Discover why this beautiful cycle route through the lush deciduous forests of Zeewolde has its starting point at two TOP locations.
Start your adventure near Resort De Parel on the Groenewoudseweg or at Restaurant Fika on the Strandweg, where you can park easily and for free.
Cycle through the enchanting Horsterwold, a unique forest area where you can encounter a variety of wild animals, including a large herd of Konik horses, Scottish highlanders, etc.
Grab a delicious picnic basket or a thermos of coffee and enjoy a relaxing break at the Horsterberg lookout point or at the Tuurtoren. The view is phenomenal and almost feels African. But a pit stop at one of the many benches along the route is also possible.
