Description
The Hulkesteinse Bos is located in the former catchment area of the river Eem. Clay, sand and peat in the subsoil, together with the varied groundwater level, ensure rich and varied vegetation. Go on a voyage of discovery via this cycling route, relax on the Laakse beach or sit and muse on the Laakse Slenk, the prehistoric river that has been dug open again. Now that water is flowing through the trees again, many dragonfly species have been added to the forest.
