Between Overloon and Afferden you cycle through some beautiful nature reserves. First you drive to Aijen, a village where you can view the beautiful centuries-old St. Anthony Abbot Chapel. Just outside Oud Bergen you cross the Maas, after which you explore the Overloonse Duinen. The Battle of Overloon took place in this area during the Second World War. Now you ride on a slightly sloping cycle path and enjoy the peace and quiet of the forest. Further on you cycle through De Hondsbergen, an elongated cover sand ridge where mainly coniferous trees grow. Via Stevensbeek and Sambeek you end up back on the Maas. On the other side of the river you cycle through Afferden, and a little later you enjoy the varied natural beauty in De Maasduinen National Park. The route ends at Eetcafé Jaykes.
