Tour Maasduinen from Afferden

Put on your sturdy shoes for a long walk through the Maasduinen National Park. You will find plenty of peace in this unique nature reserve, ideal if you want to relax for a day. Soon you will walk onto the Maasduinen. The river dunes are almost all covered with forest: the only way to protect the fields and meadows against the drifting sand! In this national park you walk through a succession of wild forests, pieces of heathland and fields. You will also pass some tranquil fens, such as the Zevemboomsven. In the middle of the Afferdense Duinen you will pass a twelve meter high watchtower. From the top you have a beautiful view.
