Between Geul and Gulp

Your route starts at Kloostertuin Wittem. This cross-border cycle tour leads you through the beautiful valleys of the Geul and Gulp. The passage from Slenaken to Epen takes you over a few tough slopes - if you're not up for that challenge, an e-bike is always an idea. Or else just take it easy, it's a day out! The Geul stream is fed by 130 side streams, including the Terzieterbeek. The Gulp valley is also very beautiful. On either side you see the hills leading up that are so characteristic of South Limburg. In Epen you drive past the Wingbergermolen, an authentic Limburg watermill that now houses a nice tavern. The Wingberger mill dates from 1844. A beautiful spot!
