Peace and nature around the Lemelerveld

With this route you will discover the surroundings of Nijverdal. You first drive along leafy roads to the Hellendoornse Berg. It is beautiful to cycle along the foot of this 40 meter high hill, past thick deciduous trees and vast meadows. You will pass the Twilhaar sheepfold, further on you can get off at Buitencentrum Sallandse Heuvelrug to find out more about this national park. In Nijverdal you can make a pit stop on the cozy terrace at Grand Café Toi Toi, before driving to the next special nature reserve: the Wierdense Veld. While you look out over the vast heathlands, you can enjoy the silence. Unless the flock of sheep crosses your path: also a nice experience. You drive back to Charme Camping Heidepark through the lovely Reggedal and along the Lemelerveld.
