The fields around Raalte

Discover rural Salland! You cycle along leafy roads past grassy meadows to Luttenberg. At junction 29 you will see a Marian grotto from 1915, the building is a national monument. On the south side of the village you drive along a wooded moraine. In cozy Raalte you will pass the Roman Catholic basilica from 1892. You will also cycle through the beautifully landscaped Drostenkamp Park. Further on you drive through the Raalterwold and the Hoge Broek, two small-scale nature reserves. In the hay fields you see beautiful colors of different flowers and plants. Finally, you pass through Lemelerveld, which was founded in 1854 by a manufacturer who set up the Overijsselse Beetroot Sugar Factory. The route ends at Charme Camping Heidepark.
