Tour of Scherpenzeel, Renswoude and Amerongen

The best of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug can be seen during this cycling tour. You start at CUBE Store Leersum. During this cycling route you will pass beautiful castles, estates and forests. From Leersum you first cycle to the Leersumse veld. A beautiful varied area of drifting sand and heath, but you will also find the Leersumse plassen here. A little further on you can get off again for Scherpenzeel and Landgoed Scherpenzeel. On the edge of Renswoude lies Kasteel Renswoude, a beautiful castle surrounded by park forest. Via Emminkhuizen and the Amerongse bos - one of the oldest parts of forest in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug - you cycle back to Amerongen. Via Amerongen and Landgoed Zuylestein you return to the start. Forests are intersected by long lanes. Enjoy all that greenery for a while longer!
