Round forests between Tilburg and Breda

From here you quickly drive into the vast Dorst Forestry. The Scots pine trees were planted in the early nineteenth century. In the mid-nineteenth century, the area was used as a military training area, for which many trees were cut down. This is how many sand drifts were created. The Sint Annabos is part of the Ulvenhout forests and was planted in the sixteenth century. The correct name is actually Annabos: the forest is named after the wife of William the Silent and she was certainly not a saint!
