Description
You first cycle along the Eem, the only river that also rises in the Netherlands and does not flow into another river. You leave the polder behind you and cycle in Soest past the windmill Molen Windhond, rebuilt in 2008 on the most striking point of Soest: the highest point of the Soester Eng. A beautiful sight just before the end of the route is Groeneveld, a country estate that was built in 1710 by the wealthy Marcus Mamuchet. One of the most beautiful examples of a country house from that time.
