Description

You first cycle along the Eem, the only river that also originates in the Netherlands and does not flow into another river. You leave the polder behind and cycle in Soest past the windmill Molen Windhond, rebuilt in 2008 on the most striking point of Soest: the highest point of the Soester Eng. A beautiful sight just before the end of the route is Groeneveld, a country estate built in 1710 by the prosperous Marcus Mamuchet. One of the finest examples of a country house from that time.
