Description
From Castricum you make a beautiful trip through the dunes. First you ride on a car-free road through the polder. Here you enjoy the wide views over the fields. You cycle through Noorddorp, after which you enter the North Holland Dune Reserve. First you ride through the forests here. After a while the trees make way for dune scrub and dune grasses. It is beautiful cycling here in the shelter. Sometimes you hear the sea breeze, sometimes the birds that fly around here chirping. North of the Zeeweg you turn east, back into the quiet forests. Just before junction 16 you reach Landgoed Duin en Bosch with its beautiful old buildings.
