Tour of the Ommen and Reggedal Forestry

From Camping & Boscafe De Lemeler Esch you drive straight into Boswachterij Ommen. Here you can enjoy many kilometres of the unparalleled silence and natural beauty. In between you drive through Junne, a farming village. At the end of the forest you come through Beerze, which enjoys a protected village view. Here you see a few beautiful nineteenth-century farms. At Hotel-Cafe- Restaurant-Snackbar Beerzeveld you can get off for a nice meal on the terrace. The last part of the route you drive through an open landscape of meadows and fields. Just past junction 5 you come across a large boulder. This is a memorial point for the pilot of a Lancaster who crashed here in 1943. Finally you drive a short distance through the wooded valley along the river Regge.
