Description
From Goirle you can experience a day of natural beauty in the Belgian-Dutch border area. First you drive at your leisure to Landgoed Gorp & Roovert. The landscape here consists of a mix of deciduous and coniferous forests, occasionally you have beautiful views over fields and fields. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see several monumental farms and a beautiful hunting lodge from 1870. After crossing the border with Belgium, you cycle for a while through the stream valley of the Rovertse Leij. A wonderfully quiet area where you can clear your head. Back in the Netherlands, you make a pit stop at the cozy Brasserie Aai & Vlaai, after which you make another crossing through Belgium. You cycle back to Goirle via Landgoed Nieuwkerk and the Regte Heide.
