Provided by: route.nl
This route takes you through the rural area of Brabantse Mill. You drive through two beautiful nature reserves: the Sint Anthonisbos and Molenheide.
Hamse Mill
From Brasserie Erica you drive to the hamlet of Sint Hubert. Here you will see, among other things, the beautiful village church, whose tower and nave date from 1459. You cycle through some other hamlets where you see beautiful farms. You will also pass the Hamse Molen, a flour mill from 1811. In the Sint Anthonisbos you can cycle quietly between Scots pines and deciduous trees. You also drive over the heath that is grazed by a herd of Kempense Heath sheep.
Heimolen
You drive on car-free roads between fields and meadows. Enjoy the fresh air while the wheels turn smoothly. Molenheide is a forest that was created in the 1920s on a former, once extensive heath field. Here you mainly drive between Scots pines and American oaks. As soon as you drive out of the forest, you see the Heimolen. This beautiful monumental flour mill dates from 1799.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
