Cycling to Gemert Castle from Boekel

Cycle from village to village, through the Brabant agricultural landscape and the beautiful nature of small forest areas. You start in cozy Boekel at Brasserie de Mouthoeve. The main building was built in 1740, on a cellar vault of the original castle from 1391. To the southwest of the inner gate is a corner pavilion from 1563 with corbelled turrets and stair towers at the corners. There is also a front gate that was built around 1600. The castle is surrounded by a park, which consists of extensive land with various farms. In short: a wonderful cultural and nature-rich route. This environment is never boring!
