It is wonderful to cycle over the Brouwersdam with the wind blowing your hair and enjoying the view. The Brouwersdam is the seventh structure of the Delta Works and closes the Brouwershavense Gat. This created the Grevelingenmeer, which contains a number of islands. You start the cycle route in Ouddorp at the parking lot. Leave your car here and get on your bike and then cycle across the Brouwersdam to Schouwen-Duiveland. Via Scharendijke you cycle to Even Pause, a cafeteria on the Grevelingenmeer. Here you can rest for a while and enjoy the beautiful view. Via the picturesque Brouwershaven you cycle past Molen't Hert, a small, white, round stone sailor that had a predecessor. The mill can be visited when it is running. You cycle over the Brouwersdam with a detour back to the parking lot.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
