Description

Schouwen Duiveland is wedged between the Gevelingenmeer and the Oosterschelde National Park. On this cycle route, beautiful views of the water alternate with the interior. The Oosterschelde National Park has been officially a fact since May 8, 2002. The Oosterschelde National Park is approximately 370 km² in size (of which 350 km² is outside the dike), making it the largest national park in the Netherlands. Start the route well with a cup of coffee and something tasty from the pastry display of 'T Swarte Schaep. If you get a healthy appetite while cycling, a very varied menu awaits you upon your return. It is nice to relax on the heated terrace overlooking the harbor where impressions of the bike ride can be discussed until the early hours.
