Three Hanseatic cities in the IJsseldelta

Historic cities, beautiful polders and ancient waterways. With its varied landscape, the IJsseldelta is ideal for a bike ride. We have put together a beautiful route for you. But of course you can also map out a route yourself with the cycle node network that has been constructed throughout the IJsseldelta. The route description is based on the starting point of Spoorkade in Kampen, but you can of course start at any junction in the route. The route leads you through a wetland area for the first part. You cycle from Hanzestad Kampen, direction Wilsum, after which you head towards Zwolle via Veecaten. You then cycle along the Westerveldse Bos in the direction of Brinkhoek and Bruggenhoek. After this the course is set towards Hasselt. Near Hasselt, follow the junctions in the direction of Mastenbroek. After a nice part of the route along the oldest polder in the Netherlands, you go back to Kampen via Kamperzeedijk, Grafhorst and IJsselmuiden. The route can also be shortened slightly. You then cycle through Mastenbroek directly towards IJsselmuiden.
