Historic cities, beautiful polders and ancient waterways. The IJsseldelta, with its varied landscape, is ideal for a cycling tour. We have put together a beautiful route for you. But you can of course also plan a route yourself using the cycling junction network that has been constructed throughout the IJsseldelta. The route description starts from Spoorkade in Kampen, but you can of course start at any junction along the route. The first part of the route takes you through a wetland area. You cycle from Hanzestad Kampen towards Wilsum, after which you head towards Zwolle via Veecaten. You then cycle along the Westerveldse forest towards Brinkhoek and Bruggenhoek. After this, we set course for Hasselt. Near Hasselt follow the junctions towards Mastenbroek. After a beautiful route along the oldest polder in the Netherlands, you return to Kampen via Kamperzeedijk, Grafhorst and IJsselmuiden. The route can also be shortened slightly. You then cycle through Mastenbroek directly towards IJsselmuiden.
