Margraten, Gulpen and Teuven

The panoramic views over the hills of the Belgian Voerstreek and the southern Limburg Mergelland are breathtaking. A buzzard or kestrel hanging motionless to 'pray' is easier to spot than the shy deer, foxes or badgers. However, the observant nature lover can also find traces of these animals in the forest. The lovely surroundings make you feel like you are in a paradise where the church is still the village centre. The hawthorn hedges, paternoster and unforgettable panoramic views are irresistibly attractive in every season. Further on you can see the idyllic Neuburg castle in the Gulp valley from the road and Groenendael castle follows further on.
