Margraten, Gulpen and Teuven

The panoramas over the hills of the Belgian Voer region and the southern Limburg Mergelland are breathtaking. A buzzard or kestrel that hangs motionless to 'pray' is easier to spot than shy deer, foxes or badgers. However, the observant nature lover can also find traces of these animals in the forest. The lovely surroundings make you imagine yourself in a paradise where the church is still the village center. The hawthorn hedges, paternoster, and unforgettable panoramas are irresistibly attractive every season. Further on, from the road, you can see the idyllically situated Neuburg Castle in the Gulp valley, followed by Groenendael Castle further on.
