Tour of Ouwerkerk, Noordgouwe and Dreischor

There is plenty to discover on Schouwen-Duiveland. For example, this route takes you through some beautiful old towns, such as Ouwerkerk. Further on you drive past the old port of Zierikzee where you see two centuries-old city gates. You cycle along the canal to Schuddebeurs. During the Golden Age, several beautiful country estates were built here. In both Noordgouwe and Dreischor you will pass a characteristic ring road. Here you will see beautiful monumental buildings and ditto churches. Just before Sirjansland you pass through the Slikken van Dijkwater nature reserve. Just past Bruinisse you cycle along the Mastgat. In 1671, a quay sank here, the mast of which protruded above the water for a long time and thus unintentionally served as a beacon. You are welcome for a snack and drink at Het Vijfde Caisson - Museum Brasserie and Knowledge Center.
