Cycling between Oosterbeek and Otterlo

Between Oosterbeek and Otterlo, you'll experience a day of natural beauty. You'll also pass cultural and historical highlights. Just past junction 37, for example, you can stop by Doorwerth Castle. Just past Heelsum, you'll enter the Veluwe region. The forests soon give way to the Ginkelse Heide. When crossing the Verlengde Arnhemseweg, you can visit the Airborne Monument. At L55, you'll hear the story behind this memorial. The route also takes you along the edge of the Mosselse Veld, offering beautiful views of pristine grasslands and heathland. In the Roekelse Bos, you can stop at Brasserie Roekel for a pit stop, after which you'll continue via Planken Wambuis to the villa village of Oosterbeek. Here you'll find one of the oldest churches in the Netherlands.
