Description

With this route you explore the forests and farmlands in the east of North Brabant. Stevensbeek is the first village on your route. It was founded in 1934 by Piet Stevens, then mayor of the next village you drive through: Sambeek. Here you can see, among other things, the detached tower of the Church of St. John the Baptist. You drive along the Maas to Boxmeer Castle Museum. In the village of Rijkevoort you see the Luctor et Emergo, a flour mill from 1901. Further on is De Heimolen, this flour mill dates from 1799. You drive through the woods of Molenheide, shortly afterwards you pass through the Sint Anthonisbos. Here you will find Scots pines, deciduous trees, heather and a refreshing silence!
