Cycle along and experience the Battle of Arnhem

The first few kilometres you will loosen up your legs in the Wolfhezer Bossen, one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. Then you will cycle through the Bennekomse Bossen. Here too you can quietly make kilometres in the green. In Wageningen you will cycle past De Vlijt, a corn mill from 1879. Along the edge of the forest you will descend the Wageningse Berg, on the right you will have a beautiful view over the polders along the Nederrijn. You will pass through the picturesque Renkum, after which you will cycle along the floodplains to the forests on Landgoed Duno. This is also where M35: Huneschans is located. This is the remains of a medieval ring rampart that offered the local population protection against plundering Vikings.
