At Carlton Oasis you can first eat something tasty, so that you can get on your bike with good courage and energy. You drive through Spijkenisse, where you will see, among other things, the Nooitgedacht flour mill. Further on you cross the Spui, a tidal river that was created by a flood in the sixteenth century. You cycle through the picturesque Heinenoord, further on you drive through the Second Heinenoord Tunnel under the Oude Maas. You pass through the Jan Gerritsepolder where you pass the Gaatkensbult: a lookout hill.

In Rotterdam you cycle through parks and neighborhoods full of beautiful buildings. The cosmopolitan feeling reaches its peak when you cycle through the center, which is dominated by the many beautiful skyscrapers and other architectural highlights. You will pass through the Kop van Zuid and along the old harbor. On the way back you drive through the Valckesteijnse Bos. Thanks to the many poplars, the forest seems older than it is.
