Description
This route can be started at the Binckplein in Alphen. You can park on the Binckplein or 100 meters further (Zandstraat 5a). Enough space.
Of course, the route can also be started from the various campsites in and around Alphen.
Via the church tower of Alphen you walk towards the hamlet of De Boslust. Here you walk past the original location (route point 7 - 51.48299 , 4.9684) of the plague cemetery of Alphen. Once in the ancient forests you will pass De Hoevens nature campsite (route point 9 - 51.48674 , 4.99216). Here you can possibly drink some water.

Just across the Leij and before't Ooievaarsnest, turn left (junction 43) and follow the beautiful stream of this old stream. You cross the Leij via a wooden bridge.
Between nodes 58 and 59 you will see beautiful old majestic beech trees.

A little further you will pass the mock airfield de Kiek . This monument has recently received the Brabant Heritage Award .
You can walk back to the center of Alphen via the Oude Tilburgsebaan.
