Sprundel and the Rucphen Forests

In the Rucphense Bossen nature reserve, pine forest alternates with deciduous forest, grassland, heathlands and drifting dunes of the sandy landscape. In the open spots on the heath, the life-bearing lizard warms itself in the sun. Broom and bunt grass grow there. Thanks to the open spaces that Natuurmonumenten creates in the pine forest, more and more plants and animals feel at home there.
