In the Ooijpolder you see a landscape that has been forged by centuries of struggle between the water of the capricious Waal and humans. In between you will pass through some interesting villages. At De Duivelsberg you can enjoy a delicacy at your leisure before getting on the saddle. The wheels turn automatically during the first kilometers as you descend from the hills to the Ooijpolder. On the dikes in the Millingerwaard you can get a breath of fresh air and look out over the rugged landscape and the Waal. In the polder you will see authentic terp farms that remind you of the time when the polders regularly flooded. At Restaurant De Thornsche Molen it is time for a terrace with something tasty. Then you drive to the lookout tower that offers you a beautiful panorama over the Greenlands and the Ooijpolder.
