The first kilometers you ride your legs loose in the area of Cothen. There are many orchards: in the spring you can enjoy the beautiful blossom here. You pass the historic vegetable garden Bartiméus. You will find a rosarium and greenhouses here: worth a visit. Then you drive up the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. In this large nature reserve you cycle for many kilometers through a varied landscape of deciduous and coniferous forests and heaths. An ideal environment for a relaxing bike ride. You regularly see stately villas and country houses. You pass through Austerlitz, a village that originated in 1804 from a settlement of traders near a large French army camp. Finally, you drive back into the wide polders of the Kromme Rijnstreek. The route starts and ends at Camping't Boomgaardje.
