Description

This route takes you through the east of North Brabant. You soon enter the village of Oploo. You will then pass the Olliemeulen, a beautiful water mill from 1725. Nearby you will also see the Korenbloem, a corn mill from around 1800. You drive past meadows and fields to Sambeek. Here you can see, among other things, the detached tower of the Church of St. John the Baptist. Then you drive a bit along the Maas. From the path you regularly have beautiful views of the rippling water. You will also see authentic Maash hedges here. A true cultural heritage, because weaving hedges already happened in Roman times. You drive through the gently sloping coniferous forests of the Overloon Dunes to Overloon, a pleasant village.
