Description

This route takes you through the east of North Brabant. You will soon enter the village of Oploo. You will then pass the Olliemeulen, a beautiful water mill from 1725. Nearby you will also see the Korenbloem, a corn mill from around 1800. You will drive past meadows and fields to Sambeek. Here you will see, among other things, the detached tower of the Sint-Jan de Doperkerk. Then you will drive along the Maas for a while. From the path you will regularly have beautiful views of the rippling water. You will also see authentic Maas hedges here. A true cultural heritage, because hedge weaving was already done in Roman times. Through the slightly undulating coniferous forests of the Overloonse Duinen you will drive to Overloon, a pleasant village.
